Tyler Davis, a 4-star DT, committed to Clemson football not too long ago and is now on campus vying for playing time.
Davis knew coming in that the Tigers would be in need of depth at defensive tackle in 2019, but the amount of snaps and reps he’s gotten in spring practice certainly has to have exceeded his expectations.
Davis is getting starter-level reps in spring because of injuries to expected starters Nyles Pinckney and Jordan Williams. When Williams and Pinckney return, though, there’s a good shot that Davis ends up competing for a spot on the two-deep.
