Dabo Swinney and his staff have constructed a roster full of elite talent in Death Valley. Clemson entered 2017 with the most deep secondary they’ve ever had under Dabo Swinney.
At corner alone, the Tigers go at least four deep. Veteran’s Ryan Carter, Marcus Edmond and Mark Fields are viable options; and youngsters, K’Von Wallace and Trayvon Mullen came on strong in the spring.
Despite the depth ahead of him on the roster, Mullen was able to lock-down a starting spot going into Clemson’s week two showdown with Auburn.
Thoughts
I am of the opinion that Mullen is the most talented defensive back that Clemson has.
