Travis Etienne set the record for all-time rushing touchdowns in a career for Clemson football when he scored his 48th touchdown to break James Davis’s previous record of 47.
In the first half of the Tigers’ rout of Wofford, Etienne had eight carries for 207 yards and two touchdowns, an average of 25.9 yards per carry.
Etienne’s first rushing touchdown of the game came with 5:53 left in the first quarter on a 47-yard run.
After Clemson football was forced to punt up 21 points, Etienne burst up the middle and made a man miss.
