The Tigers are recruiting better than ever before, they’re putting talent in the NFL left-and-right, and they’re consistently competing in the CFB Playoff. As we head into the new age of College Football, it’s clear that Clemson football will be a big part.

The NCAA Board of Governors announced support for a new rule change that would allow student-athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness. While many Clemson football fans have looked to names like Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne as players who would’ve benefited greatly from the rule change, the truth of the matter is that both Lawrence and Etienne will be gone before the rule goes into effect, barring something unforeseen.
