There was an expectation coming into the spring of 2019 that Clemson football would move Gage Cervenka over to center.
Cervenka was a co-starter that typically ran out with the first-team at right guard last season, but was also listed as the backup center behind Justin Falcinelli.
With that in mind, it was just expected that he’d move over to center and take on that role, but it has been Sean Pollard to take on the role early in the spring.
Pollard has been working as the first-team center and, according to all accounts, has done a good job in that role.
