There was only one team in all of college football that finished the season a perfect 13-0. That team was the Clemson Tigers.
Clemson football began the season being doubted as ACC Contenders and no national media had the Tigers playing in the College Football Playoff. Most pundits had Clemson going anywhere between 9-3 and 10-2. Many said they could see the Tigers going 11-1, but didn’t think it was likely with a match-up on the road at Louisville, tough home games against Notre Dame, Florida State, and Georgia Tech and an in-state rivalry game to close the season.
