In the past two months Clemson has missed out on three talented running back prospects, Master Teague III to Ohio State, followed by Lyn-J Dixon to Tennessee and most recently Zamir White to Georgia.
Missing out on Zamir White was not a huge blow to Clemson, as he was expected to end up at Georgia for some time now. The issue is the fact that Clemson has only offered four other running back prospects in the 2018 recruiting cycle, three of which are committed elsewhere at the moment.
The sole running back prospect who is uncommitted and holds an offer from the Tigers is Devon Lawrence, the younger brother of mammoth defensive tackle, Dexter Lawrence.
