Clemson football players head to Haiti for mission trip

GREENWOOD, S.C. — If you ever wonder what the football team does in between the end of a school year and the start of summer workouts – it simple, they go help out those in need.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney told The Clemson Insider prior to Monday’s Prowl & Growl event in Greenwood that a large group of his players are currently in Haiti as part of a mission trip. They are working with former Clemson defensive back, now Pittsburgh Steeler, Coty Sensabaugh’s “Soles4Souls” organization.

There is also another group of players currently in California working on an internship.
