Clemson Football moves up in AP Poll, What does it mean?

The Clemson football team moved all the way up to number-three in the AP Poll, but stayed the same in Coaches Poll, what does it mean for the Tigers?

The Clemson football team is now the number-three team in the nation. This puts the Tigers as the highest ranked they have been since 2013 when Clemson was ranked number three going into the Florida State game. The AP Poll only has Ohio State and Baylor ranked ahead of the Tigers after Clemson blasted Miami Saturday afternoon, which ultimately cost Al Golden his job.

The Coaches Poll, which was released earlier on Sunday, however, still had the Tigers at number-six in the nation behind Ohio State, Baylor, TCU, LSU, and Michigan State.
