Mario Goodrich suffered a minor injury that held him sidelined for a couple of sessions for Clemson football spring practice.
Despite the injury, Goodrich is expected to return to practice at full-strength before the spring ends and still has an opportunity for a great camp.
Though people automatically pencil in Kyler McMichael at the cornerback position opposite side of AJ Terrell for now, Goodrich shouldn’t be discredited.
What many people don’t realize is that Goodrich actually got more playing time last year than McMichael, in terms of snap count.
Both of these guys are going to have the opportunity to earn playing times in 2019 and I expect both of them to perform well as the spring continues.
