On Wednesday, Clemson football placekicker Ammon Lakip was suspended indefinitely from the team after being arrested on June 6th for cocaine possession and driving under the influence. Lakip is a senior out of Johns Creek, Georgia who started for the Tigers in 2014. He has appeared in 20 career games, hitting 22 out of 30 field goals and 51 out of 52 extra points. For now, he is suspended indefinitely; head coach Dabo Swinney is currently on vacation, so a final decision on Lakip’s association with the team should be expected soon.
