It didn’t take freshman wide receiver Joe Ngata long to introduce himself to the Clemson football fan base.
Ngata, who stepped on campus in January, looked like a veteran in the spring game, leading the Tigers in receiving yards and making a couple of impressive plays along the way.
One of the highlights of the day, in fact, was when Ngata made a first down snag from a scrambling Trevor Lawrence, toeing the sideline and getting both feet down in bounds. That’s a play that a veteran makes.
And Ngata made it look easy.
