The Clemson football team won’t compete this Saturday as the Tigers enjoy the first bye week of the season.
The bye week came at the perfect time, right after a game in which Clemson struggled to beat North Carolina 21-20 in Chapel Hill. The ACC match up came down to a two-point conversion attempt by the Tar Heels in which Clemson’s defense came away with the stop and locked up the win.
The open date allowed the Clemson football team a chance to recover from the grind of the first five games of the season and, maybe more importantly, address issues that need to be fixed as the Tigers move forward.
