There haven’t been many Clemson football players like Sammy Watkins.
Watkins was a guy that could go up and make a catch when he needed to, but spent most of his time beating opposing cornerbacks with his elite-level speed and athleticism, turning on the jets in space and making big play after big play.
It was fun watching Watkins play.
Every time he touched the ball, you knew he could be gone. As a matter of fact, there were times where he ran with the football and it just seemed like the opposing defenders were running in mud and he was on higher ground because of how slow they looked compared to him.
