It’s expected that the SEC media talking heads would make excuses for why Alabama lost to Clemson football.
After all, it’s not called ‘talking season’ for just any reason. Everyone needs a hot take or something to hold on to during the spring and summer months when there’s no football happening on the field.
However, it’s a different thing when Nick Saban comes out with excuses.
Saban, who led Alabama to a 44-16 loss to Clemson in the National Championship game, told media members at SEC Media Days that the Crimson Tide had too many individuals focused on their personal goals rather than the team goals.
