Dwayne Allen will be the lone representative for Clemson football in the Super Bowl this coming Sunday.
Allen, a member of the New England Patriots, will participate in the biggest game of the year- Super Bowl LIII.
Allen is the backup tight end for the Patriots, playing behind star Rob Gronkowski. On the season, he has three receptions for 27 yards. While Allen’s catching stats have not been eye-popping, he has done an excellent job this season blocking and has played some meaningful snaps for the Patriots.
With a win in Sunday’s game, Allen would become the 27th Clemson football player to receive a Super Bowl ring.
