There are a lot of people that have voiced concern with this proclamation and feel like the Clemson football coach is not taking the current pandemic seriously and is instead acting like an entitled spoiled rich guy.
The World Health Organization had declared the coronavirus outbreak a “pandemic” back on March 11th, just a few days prior to Swinney and family taking a trip to their Florida home. Let’s remember then that the United States had just 4,500 confirmed cases and less than 90 deaths at this time.
Let’s also remember that this is, has been and will continue to be a very fluid situation as science continues to evolve and we continue to learn more about how this virus spreads and how we can do our part in keeping that at a minimum.
