The Clemson football team plans to play the Georgia Southern Eagles this weekend after a hard fought win against Texas A&M on the road this past Saturday.
Those plans, however, could be affected by the impending track on Hurricane Florence, which is currently slated to hit the shores of the Carolinas or Virginia later this week.
With the danger of a what could be the biggest hurricane to hit the Carolinas in years, S.C. Governor Henry McMaster declared a state-of-emergency and ordered an evacuation of the entire strand area of South Carolina.
Schools around the strands and even further inland have already been canceled until further notice as they prepare for what could be a Category 3 or Category 4 Hurricane to hit Thursday afternoon and into Friday morning.
