Clemson football QB Trevor Lawrence has never lost a game.
The sophomore quarterback currently holds a record of 26-0 as a starter and has already won two ACC Championships and a National Title in his Clemson football career.
With all the success he has had, Lawrence has an opportunity to reach a historic feat and join an exclusive group with another win.
If Clemson football beats LSU Monday night, Lawrence will join a group of quarterbacks. Since the 1950s, there have only been a handful of quarterbacks to lead their teams to consecutive National Championships:
- Steve Davis (Oklahoma 1973-75)
- Jerry Tagge (Nebraska 1969-71)
- Tommie Frazier (Nebraska 1992-95)
- AJ McCarron (Alabama 2010-13)
It should be noted that USC’s Matt Leinart also achieved the feat in 2003-04, but the 2004 National Title was later vacated.
