Clemson Football Analysis: Tigers dominate Wake Forest, head into bye week

Clemson football rode the rushing attack to a 63-3 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Saturday afternoon in Winston-Salem.

After a slow first quarter that only led to seven points, the Tigers decided to let the rushing attack open up the rest of the offense. And did it ever.

The Demon Deacons were unable to muster a single touchdown in the game offensively and couldn’t stop the likes of Travis Etienne and that running back group on the defense.

Freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a slow start, but finished the game well, completing 20-of-25 passing attempts for 173 yards and two touchdowns, including an impressive 55-yard completion to fellow freshman Justyn Ross.
