Clemson Football: A.J. Terrell is soaring up NFL Draft boards

A.J. Terrell did not have the kind of ending to his Clemson football career that most would’ve liked to have seen him have.

Terrell headed into the National Championship game with one task: Guard LSU WR Ja’Marr Chase. It just couldn’t be done.

Throughout the game, many began to criticize Terrell for his play and that carried over into much of the offseason, but the truth of the matter was this: Terrell didn’t play as horrible as many believe.

As a matter of fact, he played about as good of coverage as a defensive back could play and the receiver- Chase- just made a better play.
