It wasn’t that long ago that Deshaun Watson was leading the Clemson football program to its first National Championship in more than 30 years.
Watson came in as a freshman and quickly won the starting job. He made a name for himself and capped off that freshman season leading Clemson football to a victory over in-state rival South Carolina, snapping a five-game losing streak to the Gamecocks. Did I mention he played with a torn ACL in that game?
Watson vowed that he would never lose to South Carolina- and he kept that promise.
