Clemson’s recruiting efforts are much more reserved than some of the other elite programs across the country. The Tigers are slow to offer many of their prospects, in an effort to be completely sure that they want the young man in their program. The flip side of this patient recruiting strategy is that each offer Clemson doles out is a committable offer.
When Clemson receives a commitment from a prospect, more often than not the staff has cultivated a deep relationship with that individual. That being said, a multitude of circumstances can effect a prospects decision, from staff changes to simple indecisiveness.
