The Clemson football program has seen many talented individuals come through under Dabo Swinney‘s leadership over the course of the last decade.
Perhaps, none have been better than QB Deshaun Watson.
Deshaun Watson, the current quarterback for the Houston Texans, led Clemson football to three-straight wins over in-state rival South Carolina, two National Championship appearances and one National Title- the program’s first in more than 30 years.
After leaving the Clemson football program as the GOAT, Watson was drafted in the first-round by the Houston Texans. The Texans traded up to make the selection happen and it seemed like the organization was poised to make a run at Super Bowl contention in the next few seasons.
