Clemson reserve defensive end Richard Yeargin was involved in a car accident last week, but his overall wellbeing is okay despite injuring his neck.
The Florida native reported on his Instagram account that he is okay. Yeargin said the accident was a serious one. He thanked all of those who helped him in the last two days he was in the hospital.
“After almost facing death I thank God he kept me here to shed light on him,” Yeargin posted. “If it wasn’t for him I would not be here today.”
There is no official word on Yeargin’s status for the upcoming season.
