Clemson’s defense dominated Florida State Saturday afternoon – the Seminoles didn’t cross midfield until the third quarter and both touchdowns came long after the starters had retired to the bench.
A highlight of the day was Derion Kendrick’s pick-six in the third quarter, and it came on a call that Brent Venables laughed and said Kendrick has had trouble mastering.
"It's been a long time coming. That was a Cover 2 zone blitz, and we weren't great,” Venables said. “DK wasn't great in calls similar to that, in that call, at taking what was there, what he did today.
