Clemson is losing a reserve defensive back.
Redshirt junior safety Caleb Nix has entered the transfer portal, The Clemson Insider has confirmed.
Nix joined the Tigers as a walk-on in 2022 and has appeared in 10 games over his career. He is the brother of former Oregon and current Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.
Nix is the second player to enter the portal since the spring window opened on Wednesday. Former cornerback Tavoy Feagin officially entered after disclosing after the spring game his intention to transfer. Feagin has since signed with Ole Miss.
