Clemson commit Malik William didn’t score many points for The First Academy (Orlando, Fla.) in its game against Holy Trinity (Melbourne, Fla.) last Friday, but he did everything else to help his team win.
The four-star power forward blocked 16 shots, grabbed 14 rebounds and added seven assists with two steals and five points in an 81-52 victory.
The 16 blocks set a school record.
“It felt good because it let people know that the game of basketball is not all about scoring the most points,” William told The Clemson Insider. “It shows people that you don’t have to score 20 to 30 points a game just to win.
