High-ceiling prospect Keiondre Jones has attracted the attention of Clemson’s coaching staff this week.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, defensive backs coach Mike Reed and co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliot appeared at Callaway High School in Hogansville, Ga., to see the 2019 offensive lineman.
Only a freshman, Jones has a host of offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, North Carolina and Tennessee. It’s a testament to his talent, which the Tigers wanted to witness themselves.
Still, Jones didn’t expect Clemson’s presence.
“It surprised me because I have never come in contact with any Clemson coaches before,” he told The Clemson Insider.
