Clemson beat Miami again on Thursday. In the morning, the Tigers offered one of the top 2018 prospects from Broward County.
Brent Venables, who recruits the Miami area for Clemson, passed along the news of Tyson Campbell’s very first offer. The Hurricanes made it two for Campbell later that afternoon.
He’s accumulated 16 tackles and has a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown this season for American Heritage High School in Plantation.
“Really excited, truly humbled and blessed. I really didn’t think I was going to be offered that early…really surprised, but excited at the same time,” he said of the Clemson offer.
