The Clemson basketball team played a great game offensively, but fell short to the Minnesota Gophers in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge by a score of 89-83.
The Tigers led Minnesota 42-36 at halftime, but they were unable to cash-in in several situations in the second half and committed a total 24 personal fouls Monday night.
The Gophers were led by forward Jordan Murphy, who had 24 points and 10 rebounds and eight of those were offensive rebounds. Guard Nate Mason and forward Joey King each added 17 points and Mason had eight assists, as well. Charles Buggs also had 15 points and four rebounds on the night.
