CLEMSON — The Clemson men’s basketball team has done something that has happen just one other time in its history.
Clemson learned Tuesday it finished No. 22 in the final Associated Press Men’s Basketball Poll. It marks the first time the Tigers have finished ranked in the final AP Poll in back-to-back years since the 2007-’08 and 2008-’09 seasons — the only other time in program history that has happened.
Last year, Clemson ranked No. 14 in the final rankings. The Tigers ranked No. 22 in the final AP Poll in 2008 and No. 24 in the 2009 final poll.
