For its first ACC series away from home, Clemson headed up north to Chestnut Hill, taking two out of three from the Boston College Eagles, moving to 18-6 overall and 6-3 in conference play. Clemson won game one 8-1 behind another strong outing from Davis Sharpe (3-1). The young freshman continues to impress as he went 7 shutout innings, allowing just 3 hits and striking out 6, despite the very cold temperatures.
