Clemson opened up the series with an offensive explosion on Saturday afternoon to beat Florida State 10-3. The game, originally scheduled for 6:30, was moved up to 1:00 because of inclement weather. FSU held the Tigers hitless for the first three innings, but Seth Beer delivered a frozen rope single to right field to get the Tigers first hit on the board. Reed Rohlman followed it up with another single to get Beer to third, and then Weston Wilson came through with a 3 run home run in right center field to break the 0-0 tie. Florida State came back with 3 runs of their own in the top of the 5th, but after that it was all Tigers.
