Clemson’s pitching staff put together a remarkable performance in the weekend series against Boston College. Clemson held the Eagles to eighteen hits and two runs over the three games, walking just two batters and striking out thirty-two. Pat Krall went 7.1 innings on Sunday, allowing seven hits and no runs in Clemson’s 2-0 win. The game was a 0-0 tie going into the top of the eight, before Reed Rohlman lifted a sacrifice fly to score Logan Davidson, giving Clemson the 1-0 lead. To lead off the ninth, Seth Beer crushed a huge home run to give the Tigers their final run of the game.
