The Clemson baseball pitching staff has been lights out during these first seven games. During this weekend’s series against Stony Brook, Clemson pitching threw 28 innings recorded 43 strikeouts, ushered just five walks and gave up no earned runs.
After the game, Monte Lee said that the Clemson pitching staff is going to give Clemson a chance to win every game.
“It’s been a lot of fun to watch and we know our pitchers are going to give us a chance in every ballgame. Their ability to execute a big pitch in a big spot with runners on base… that has stood out to me.
