Clemson must replace all three of its weekend starters for the 2018 season. Tigers coach Monte Lee has chosen the first three pitchers that will get a shot.
Clemson released its starting rotation for opening weekend on Tuesday and lefty Jacob Hennessy will open the year as Clemson’s Friday-night start.
Righty Brooks Crawford will be the starter on Saturday, while lefty Jake Higginbotham will start on Sunday.
Hennessy, a Dorman product, is a sophomore who finished 2-1 with three saves and a 3.82 ERA in 26 appearances in 2017.
