After being swept by Florida St and now mired in the midst of their first losing streak of the season, Clemson (25-11, 11-7) will look to try and get back on track against Georgia Tuesday night in Athens. It won’t be an easy task however, as Georgia (29-8, 10-5) comes in sitting at #7 in RPI and ranked as high as 4th by Baseball America.
The two teams have met once already back on April 2nd in Clemson, with the Dawgs picking up a 5-3 win, their third straight overall against the Tigers. Tim Elliott kept Tiger hitters off balance all night, allowing just 2 runs on 3 hits and striking out 7, in 7.
