The new look Clemson baseball team could not change their fortunes in ACC weekend series as they lost at home to Georgia Tech, a team the Tigers needed to beat in order to keep treading water.
There’s no easy way to swallow this loss and, as a matter of fact, it’s practically unacceptable from a baseball fan’s perception.
The Tigers fell to 26-14 overall and 9-11 in the ACC with just the post-exam schedule remaining. This includes a series against Florida State, which will start on Saturday, as well as series against NC State and at Notre Dame with several midweek games along the way.
