Clemson Baseball Defeats Wake Forest, Picks Up Series Win

The Clemson baseball team dropped the series opener up in Winston-Salem Friday night, but came storming back for wins in games two and three to clinch the series victory.

After dropping Friday night’s game 6-4 to the Demon Deacons, Clemson baseball found some success early on Saturday behind true-freshman Seth Beer. Beer hit two homers on Saturday, lead the Tigers to a 6-5 victory to set up the rubber-match on Sunday.

Sunday saw the Tigers down 8-4 heading into the seventh inning. That’s when the offense exploded.

Clemson baseball went for eight runs in the top of the seventh inning, led by a grand slam from Chris Okey to put the Tigers up 10-8.
