The Tigers responded to a pair of lengthy touchdown runs by Dalvin Cook in the third quarter with a touchdown of their own to start the fourth. Wayne Gallman scored the touchdown on a 2-yard with 11:30 to play, cutting Clemson’s deficit to 28-26. Gallman was initially ruled short of the end zone, but the ruling was overturned upon official review. Clemson attempted a two-point conversion but was unsuccessful.
