Clemson's basketball team picked up another transfer commitment on Monday, this one from former Robert Morris guard Marcquise Reed.
Former Robert Morris guard and NEC freshman of the year Marcquise Reed announced Monday afternoon via his Twitter account that he intends to transfer to Clemson.
This is a quality addition for a Clemson team that has struggled to score and, more specifically, make outside shots. Reed will have to sit out a year, but he should be an immediate contributor when the 2016-2017 season rolls around. While adding a player who could play this season was a possibility, it seemed that ship had sailed when Clemson missed out on Alabama transfer Ricky Tarrant.
