In spite of the commitment he made to Clemson in February, Tennessee continued to pursue Tavien Feaster, and for good reason.
Their persistence finally paid off. The Vols’ staff scored a return visit from Feaster for last weekend’s Orange Carpet Day.
“They just kept recruiting me hard,” he said. “They kept tugging and tugging and tugging until I finally said, ‘Hey, if they say it’s this good, I have to go visit again.’ So I went and visited again. It was a really fun experience for me, but I’m committed right now.”
Feaster reaffirmed his commitment to Clemson several times during Wednesday afternoon’s interview, but he made no bones about Tennessee being in the mix for his signature.
