The power of the paw has never been stronger as evidenced by Clemson’s expanded recruiting reach.
Late last month Clemson defensive coordinator extended an offer to Bellflower (CA) St. John Bosco three-star linebacker Spencer Lytle, one of few offers ever extended to Golden State prospects.
Lytle claims offers from Arizona, Arizona St., Boston College, Cal, Colorado, Louisville, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Pittsburgh, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, Wisconsin and Washington among numerous others.
However, because of Venables persistence and dedication, the offer from the Tigers quickly caught Lytle’s attention.
"Coach has been great about sending my family videos and a ton of information about what Clemson offers in and out of football," Lytle said recently.
