During an overnight visit earlier this month, Clemson offered three-star small forward Jalen Johnson.
The 6-foot-6, 170-pound prospect from Wesleyan Christian in High Point, N.C. also lists offers from Wake Forest, Texas Tech and a handful of mid-major schools, including Old Dominion.
Along with head coach Brad Brownell, serving as the point man in Clemson’s recruitment of Johnson is assistant Steve Smith.
“Really, they were just saying how (Brownell) watched my game and how they felt there’s a need for a guy like me, a player that can shoot and a big wing,” Johnson said.
