Clemson head coach Brad Brownell was thrilled to be back in Littlejohn Coliseum after playing all of last year’s home games in Greenville, South Carolina, some 45 minutes away from Clemson.
Littlejohn was renovated last year as part of a $63.5 million dollar project, which also saw the addition of the Swann Pavilion, which houses both the men’s and the women’s programs.
In the unofficial reopening of Littlejohn on Thursday, Clemson manhandled Division II Lander University 105-49 in the only exhibition game of the preseason.
“It was certainly nice to be in the new building,” Clemson head coach Brad Brownell said afterwards.
