Clemson picked up another 2017 quarterback commitment on Wednesday night when Chase Brice pulled the trigger.
The four-star from Loganville-Grayson (Ga.) joined five-star Hunter Johnson, who jumped on board on Monday night.
“They told me from the very get go, because of their situation with their depth at quarterback,” Brice told TCI on Wednesday night, shortly after he announced the news on Twitter.
Clemson also has a 2016 commitment from Zerrick Cooper. By the time 2017 rolls around, Watson will be draft eligible. Kelly Bryant and Tucker Israel are the only other quarterbacks on the current roster that will still be on scholarship.
