Defensive prospect Brendon Harris really wowed the Clemson coaching staff at a recent session of Dabo Swinney Football Camp.
So much so that the Tigers on Monday handed the Volunteer State cornerback – a rising junior at Baylor School in Chattanooga – his first official athletic scholarship offer. (Shortly afterward, the Tigers of LSU followed suit.)
But the offer didn't exactly “wow” Harris – he knew he'd made a strong impression.
“From what I've heard from my coaches and what I've heard from the coaches there, I knew they were really impressed with my performance at the camp,” Harris told TigerNet by phone Tuesday morning.
