The former Clemson running back, who entered his name into the transfer portal on Thursday, told The Swamp247, a Florida Gators’ fan website, he is transferring to Florida. He told the site he committed to the Gators’ coaching staff on Saturday.
Bowman told The Clemson Insider Thursday the recent death of his grandfather is why he has decided to leave the Clemson football program.
The freshman running back put his name into the transfer portal Thursday, meaning he could have schools contact him about transferring to their program.
