Beer powers Clemson over Wake Forest

Winston-Salem, NC – Seth Beer hit two home runs for the Tigers and picked up four RBI’s as Clemson downed Wake Forest 6-5 to even the series.

Coach Lee didn’t wait long before making a pitching change on Saturday. Clate Schmidt was relieved by Pat Krall in the third inning. Schmidt went 2.2 innings and gave up four hits, three runs and three earned runs.

Pat Krall was impressive going 5.0 innings and only giving up five hits, two runs and two earned runs. Alex Bostic finished it off for the Tigers.

Seth Beer hit a home run for the second time this weekend when his solo shot to left center put Clemson on top 1-0.
